Born in France, Loïc Noisette graduated in 1994 from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris in Dance, History of the Arts and Anatomy. After graduation he danced for the next seven years touring internationally with the widely acclaimed Ballet Preljocaj (Marseille, France).
In 2001 Loïc gave a new direction to his professional life, leaving the Ballet Preljocaj to dance free-lance for numerous choreographers in Europe, expanding his spectrum by studying pedagogy, video, journalism, and eventually signed for an internship at CAPA, a French TV Production company involved in News, Arts and Society. Loïc was drawn back to stage in 2003 with the creation of the show “ A New Day...” featuring Céline Dion (Las Vegas. NV). Loïc was featured as a dancer and principal character in this highly acclaimed show.
In addition, he continued to pursue choreography and video-editing while creating with his wife, Julie Bour. Together, they laid the foundations of their company The Flying Mammoth. In 2008, they moved to New York City in order to develop both their company and Julie’s choreography. From there, Loïc collaborated as an artistic consultant, teacher, a videographer or a performer with The Metropolitan Opera, Ballet Preljocaj, Doug Varone and Dancers, Revolver - a French based rock band - Steps On Broadway, Gilles Papain, Action Against Hunger, Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux, the Joffrey Ballet School amongst others.
Now living with his family in Los Angeles - where he performed for the Cirque du Soleil show “Iris” created by Philippe Decouflé and has been consulting for the CMH Label Group, Vitamin String Quartet, as well as Colin Connor and John Gilkey.. - Loic carries on with the journey The Flying Mammoth started seven years ago. A journey that saw the creation of two sister companies :
- L. A. French Fixers - founded with partner Martin Gaillard. This company is hosting and supporting French film production teams in the realization of their project in Los Angeles. - Agile.dance - an instrument created by choreographer JULIE BOUR to produce Dance for film, stage, live events, music videos and commercials. Additionally, Loic is teaching dance - ballet, contemporary, and improvisation - at LACHSA, Los Angeles County High School for the Arts.
